I watched the Jonathon Ross show on Friday, he is funny at times and all my licence money seems to go in to his pocket, one of his guests was Gordon Ramsay, and I didn't like his comments.

Whilst he, Ramsay, was talking about his new New York restaurant he mentioned the customer that had eaten the "seaweed" that he had used to dress the food and then "smirked" about it.

What a nice man he has turned out to be, doesnt he understand that for many people this is a once in a lifetime visit, possibly just to see how the other half lives.

Ramsay, if you can't eat it why put it on the bloody plate, and if you wish to belittle your customers just remember, they are the people keeping you in business with your over expensive, arty-crafty food.

One of our SNP, (Scottish Nationalist Party) MSPs, (Member of The Scottish Parliament) has decided that the most important thing that they can do is to lobby Westminster in an attempt to raise the age classification of films which show people smoking.

This is in a country where the crime figures are ever climbing, the standard of education is lower than it has ever been, hospitals are closing and vandalism is rife, this after too many years of Labour running the country, of course we did get a ban on foxhunting and a ban on smoking. Oh, and I think that there was an agreement that they should give school children the facts about homosexuality.

All party's in their election manifestos told us of their plans to change the council tax system and make it fairer to all, all manifestos told us that they would increase the numbers of policemen.

In a parliament where no party has overall control a normal person may consider that items that had a basis for agreement between those party's would be the first to be introduced.

Don't blame me, I didn't vote for them.

This is pretty neat.

Once again I visited the garden centre and spent farrrrr too much money but I picked up this beautiful tuberus perennial for the rock garden, long flowering period from May to September and grows to about 4 ins high.

Not quite what you expected is it but that's as far as I am going, and it's taken in the privacy of my own house, now it's your turn, dare you.
