Birds past.

by joebangles @ 06/11/2007 - 20:36:11

My computer is taking so long to do things at the moment and as I don't know much about them I decided that I was asking it to do too much.

The screen saver was a very busy thing, all action and movement, I imagine this takes a lot of "computing" so I looked around my pics for a nice quiet picture, discovered how to change one for the other, and, bingo, it's there.

It does remind me of a day that I was fishing, well, I say fishing in the loosest way, I had lost a hook, a float and a hook and a spinner, so I had given up, the only bait that I had was a tin of Green Giant sweet corn because the weather had been so good that I could not find any worms in the garden after digging down almost as far as the earths core.

Staring at my new screen saver I noticed a ghostly bird in the picture, maybe the ghosts of birds past hang about at the water side.

Enlarged detail from my pic.

Now you're seeing "spirits" Joe, fishing will do that to you. You don't lose hooks and line and stuff, you just give them away. When I'm fishing I find that actually catching something disturbs the peace. As far as the slowdown on the computer goes, I had the same problrm so I reverted to a still wallpaper and screen save and went into remove and took out all the programmes I hadn't been using for the last couple of months, that sped things up a bit. Keep seeing the "spirits" Joe it makes life more interesting. ED

Well I can, Mahima, but my eyes are old, I will try to find a way to highlight it.

I can see how the torn off leaf on the reed on the left, just there :points:, could be mistaken for a bird, but that's all. Can you point it out? Must go though actually, see you again soon hopefully, been fun. Night now T, E.X.

No chassy, it's just taken off from the rushes, I will try and find a way to point it out.

Hubby makes me clear out the Temporary Internet files from time to time. He says when I flick back and forth between blogs it (the PC) tries to store every page for me? It's off of Tools/Delete Browsing History/Temporary Internet Files but he recommended I do it every few days due to how much I use the PC.

Hope it helps

Thanks for hubby's tip, I will try that. There is a bird, I can see it, new highlighted pic shortly.

:) I can't see the pic at all...I went to the link and it's just Photobucket's home page? Where's your pic, Trev?
