And I kill them with slug bait, I hope it's not before the big day comes around.

oh dear... well, it's not as bad as some animals. Not sure which ones exactly (not sure if it's even true! my friends told me! :)) ) but apparently, some animals have sex and then die! :))

Some insects have sex and then the males are eaten by the females. now THAT is a bad life :))

Yep, think that your talking about some kind of spider, maybe the Black Widow spider, well, no wonder she's a widow if that's how she carries on.
