Nearly over.

Well, it's nearly over in the U K, in Australia it's finished and in the USA they are half way through, only 365 days to wait for the next one, 2008 is a leap year.

First time that I have spent Christmas day evening on my own, to be very honest, the first time that I have cooked a Christmas dinner, so I took a picture of it,

Gammon joint, roast potatoes, cut green beans and sweet corn, how about that Gordon Ramsay if you are reading my posts.

So, back to the fact that I mentioned in the first paragraph, next year is a leap year, any one like to propose to me.

( Sorry, I know that it is sexist but this invitation is only to the ladies)

I'd love to propose, especially having seen your roast potatoes, but I'm already well and truly spoken for, I'm afraid.

Haven't been married for 40 yrs---so only if you get really desperate let me know.There are some things that are NOT forgotten ! NOT cycling--SILLY !

  Hello Ruth, I had an immediate reply that formed in my mind when I read your comment, but I dare not write it, it also was not about cycling.
  
  Know how you feel as I am probably much the same, about 80 when I have to do some decorating, exactly 70 when I have to cut the hedges and pick up those bloody leaves, about 60 when I am digging, about 40 when I am planting, 20 when I listen to Frankie Laine records, and the other thing, well, about 30 in my mind but for a much shorter time, is this called the ages of man.

THANKS--I was lucky to have daughter and partner [hate that word ] for Xmas.Quite a drag coming from London to the very South West.But with the mild weather and actually sitting outside the pub looking down at the harbour in the sun was a real treat.Love living here.All the best for another year---as I've said before they pass too quickly now.
