I used to watch him from time to time...found him very curiously interesting...he has a way about him that other mediums don't and does seem to be able to pull information about the dead out of the ether in ways that defy explanation...usually cold reading is the method, but he does seem to have an ability not many have...just wish for once the dead would provide more inf about where they are HLOL, and what they do all the time, and have some more interesting messages, though I guess it's not the message that's important, it's the comfort to the relatives that the loved one is still around somewhere...big hugs...

Hello Jen, I hoped that I would get several replies to this post, I find it an interesting subject that has very many believers, not that I count myself as one.

This John Edwards is good, but is it just a trick? I have watched magicians doing the same thing after admitting that it was a trick.

I have nothing against it really as it does seem to help some people, and I am in favour of helping if you can. He is obviously making a lot of money out of it and there is the rub, when those that can not afford to visit mediums but feel that they need too possibly are hooked to the extent that they may go without things that are necessary.

As you say, we don't get the information that we would really like to get, and, another thought, how many times is he wrong and those bits are not shown on the television.

Hi Trev,
have always been interested in this sort of thing..friends have been to see mediums and they have come out with highly specific personal information which really would be impossibe with a cold reading. So yes, totally believe in it.
